Summer Came Prancing
~*Grandma Poet*~

Summer really did come prancing in
Delaney and Landry greeted it with a grin
Two darling sisters found a way
to stay cool and have fun everyday~

Their smiles would warm the hearts
of all who see them at play
Sister's celebrating summer
in a very special way~

Loving one another
just as sisters should do ...
now is that just the coolest thing
two little sisters can do ?

Summer is ending ... school starting soon
sisters of the summer back to the schoolroom
But memories of the summer fun
will be shared in 'show and tell' with everyone~

They are so cute Marge and growing up so fast. I remember holding Delaney when she was just a baby.

I see someone has room for a straw?  Very cute they are indeed, but getting along as sisters do?  Wow, they should talk to my two, as they fight like cats and dogs.  Very scary stuff!  I of course was an only child, and had an only child, so this love/hate thing is really very weird. ((*^))  Sure growing up.  Oh, I meant to tell you this forever, they both sure look like you!

Maureen~
Too long ago that was ... but Delaney still has that little basket of books that you gifted to me~
Landry reads them all the time and still thinks they are about her too~

Mysteria~
LOL ... Delaney has lost several toofers ... and she takes it in stride~
You need to ship yours down here ... these two are truly the most loving sisters, bestest friends and caring and sharing everything with each other~

Thank you for noticing ... others often see the resemblance between them and their ~*Poet*~

Marge, these are adorable pictures. They are growing so fast. Are they both going to be in school, now?

Out of all the blooms I have seen from your garden, I do believe these are the two most beautiful.

Thanks everyone~

Delaney will be attending kindergarten and
Landry will be continuing in pre-school~

We had a neat party yesterday~

While Mom and Dad had both returned to set up for resuming their teaching positions for the upcoming school year, the grandie girlies and I invited four other girls (and one neat friend to help me out) over to spend a day of girl fun~

They all played, swam and did a fantastic lunch out by the pool~

What total fun we all had~

School begins for the kids next week~
I'll keep Landry three days a week and Delaney when needed~

Dear Marge:

I'm so glad you alerted me to this one. I hate to miss pictures of the girls and the poetry you write to go with them. I keep them, as Ronnie and I enjoy looking at how the girls have changed since babies. Don't know why I didn't get your link to this, so very happy to see this today. Thanks a lot!

Love
