To peer out endlessly beyond a veil of stars
calling kindred spirits lost in divine expanses
listening to the echoes of ones own soul
expecting nothing in return yet listening

To hold ones own destiny in swaddling clothes
caressing the hand of another more dear
than ones own aspiration and desiring only
that ones realization of truth and happiness

To brave the indignity of teeming walkways
lost in a maze of society's solitudes
casting about for reasons to continue
following a path so often frought with pain

To stand up for rights and freedoms denied
those sad souls born to poverty and oppression
accepting only the gratitude of charity
knowing only the truth of compassion

To share all secrets with another more beautiful
than you could ever hope to be and love
that person with undying trust and devotion
until you crumble into dust divine smiling

Thanks Dennis, I guess it's the trivial subject matter.
