.

With a slender
Half circle
Glint of light

In a dark
Not yet
Dawn sky

The round moon
Blue on deeper blue . . .

Is to see and know
There are other
Perhaps even greater things
Than you or I

Though when combined
Two as one
At such an hour

We can hardly imagine
What they are

Ah, moon,
kindly go away

let a quiet day
stay
in his heart
in her mind
when love comes to prey

for no one
really wants
to be on it's tray
under your surway

So kindly
Ah, moon
go away

Most sentimental piece and very touching

wonderful read

John

You paint words with light strokes
that reach to my mind and share the picture.

And I smile.
