Here, Now, Forever

I still don’t know how you feel about me
Too caught up in my own
That I forgot to ask you how it was you felt
So now Im still alone.

If ever you would think of me
Don’t you ever think I bear you
Any ill will or resentment.

I have nothing but love and respect for you.
Two words never to be overused,
Never to be considered “cliché”
I am in nothing but awe and a state of admiration

so unfortunately seldom it is
to look upon a soul triumphant
but when the day comes when your wayward path leads you to one
it inspires you to move the very mountains
sending this land of broken hearts
careening into the ocean
In due time, my love,

I cast my soul to your sea

I still don’t know how you feel about me
Too caught up in my own
That I forgot to ask you how it was you felt
So now Im still alone.
