it was a language without words
une langue sans sentiments
une langue sans nuances

ô, c'est pas vrai

to close my eyes
was to grind
the corpse to pieces

part my part
jusqu'il n'y
ait rien

and then to close my ears
oh, how i loved to
close them
to carve them away
with the sharpest kitchen knife
that i had ever seen
and i carved away my ears
more times than i could count
in my thousand years of living
or breathing rather

i only lived when my ears were gone
and my eyes were closed

puisque tout passe..

ôte maintenant | tes souliers
et chausse à ton pied | quelque pelotes de nués
car ici désormais | est la demeure d'un ciel
