.

In a night
Cool and blue
As so many other times before
The full round now summer moon
Goes its way across a starless sky

It sings no song
It writes no poem

That is for us
Not stone

To make such things
Out of fear or desperate love

Unable to accept
Entirely in our hearts
How it finally moves

Alone,
Detached, apart
Like a Buddhist monk
Dispassionate

Within the ultimate wisdom
Of his silence

.

once again, this is REALLY fine!

[I could not 'hi-lite' one part of it without simply re-listing the entire poem!]

serious, long-sustained applause!!

a soft sigh
a sad silence
is made into a sharp knife
to cut open countless hearts
who beat the rhythm of his poems
and croon the color of his arts

logistically reasoned sad poem
good read
