Dams held tight for too long
Burst

I’m so not that strong
Will you capture all that I spill?
The unused, discarded and ignored
A flood of unending need
For more

I get lost in a look
Desperate and afraid to ask
With nothing more than eyes
Pleading for something forgotten
Held within, the outward structure belies
The crumbling
Inside

It may be foolish of me to dare
Think there might be more beneath
The surface
Of daily activity
So I agonize
Fantasize
Saying nothing
Letting nothing
Permeate the air

Dams held tight for too long
Burst

You know what to do, lovie.

Go to the gym and put on the gloves. (I'll hold the bag for you if you promise to aim at the bag.)

Susan:

*HUGESQUEESE*

I'd say get out of my head but it's nice to have some company.

Got an extra pair of gloves?

Funny how the same feeling produces different results.  I've got one of these in Mature.  *grin*

Much emotion apparent through excellent use of imagery. Conveys much.

Susan sure seems like today is the day for having that desire to take it out on something (other than myself).

Understanding and feeling this one with you gal....

Yeah, it is a p.i.t.a. not sharing very often
and keeping it all so close to ourselves.

There

silently
I cry
in the shower
where
I lose
all my emotional
power

don’t
have to
hold up too
strong
my secret
place taking
no one
along

there

tears
flow just for
me
trickling down
the drain
free

they
are tears
I need to
cry
with no one
to question
why

love ya susan
and you KNOW that i know
helen

~ Yes, they certainly do! ~ and thank goodness you have the ability to release some of the pressures in your life through your emotive writing.

Giving you a loving, compassionate hug,

Hi Susan, I very much enjoyed your words here my friend, we all yearn for more and feel we will burst wanting, amazing how long we can hold it all in. Great truth in this and I felt the need.
