Earth Angel’s Heaven
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

Little pansy faces are smiling up at me.
They grace my pretty garden in a vast floral sea.

Roses pink and lovely, scent the morning air.
Their beauty is delicate and fair beyond compare.

Peonies with showy heads in colorful array,
Greet irises waving flags in fleurs-de-lis display.

There are topiary bushes ~ sculpted by Creator's Hand,
And founts of gods and goddesses from the promised land.

Clematis climb white trellises, entwined by ivy vines,
And just beyond the garden hedge, stand the whispering pines.

Lilies-of-the-valley grow along my garden path,
And graceful bells of snowy white, surround the songbirds' bath.

An endless well for wishing that the faerie folk hold dear,
And only friends of fairies, may ever venture near.

Along side the garden gate, hangs a rose-painted sign,
"Earth Angel's Heaven ~ A Garden Walk Divine".

.

Linda - we can only hope that "heaven" is as lovely as your garden but then again, a good garden is the result of effort, is it not?

I am pleased to say that it is fortunate
for us all that I am not the one with the
green thumb because it would probably be
purple....

Nice one EA, very nice.

Bunches of Honey ~

Hi, Honey! I love flowers and the more "effort" that is put into tending my gardens ~ the greater the reward!

Hyacinth hugs,
