Dark side of the Moon.

Pass the Night

a sultry night beneath starlight
no breeze to stir the air
no cloud in sight to block the height
one single soul is there

still reaching out to feel about
searching for a spark
to light the way as if to say
‘save me from the dark’

yet none are near so none will hear
loneliness remains
close the door as times before
go to sleep again

perchance to dream so it will seem
wonderful and bright
without a care so peaceful there
calmly pass the night

You touched my heart
This is sadly beautiful
It's haunting

Trekkergirl... It is a condition that Romantics often find themselves in, unfortunately. Thank you for your kind response.
