I could go there again in my mind
a dozen times within each eye blink
to the sun dress daydreamery
of mosey town's downtown

there is always a hemingway sun
reclining against the afternoon
across from a cove with no ocean
and your windows are the whiskey

that make me lean on my elbows
waiting to be served a smile
with over your shoulder eyes
in spite of my poor passing

and you high heel my imagination
nearly barefoot nude sometimes
from the wrists down to fingers
with a handsome woman's waving

and then the light changes to mondays

Perhaps a little Highland Park
to help you with the windows?

So good to read you again...

I like what I like when I like it and I like this.  So there.  No comments necessary. I just like it.

"reclining hemingway sun"
D, with your fine landscaping imagery, I can feel the warm in it....
