Until there was you
I walked the earth alone
No hand to hold in mine,
my heart was all my own

Until there was you,
what was love all about
I had never been kissed
now I cannot live without

Until there was you,
I lived an empty fairy tale
I had only dreamt of love
but never knew what it entailed

Until there was you,
I had no direction or goals
My life was lonely,
and I had lost all control

So I thank my lucky stars,
for a love that pure & true
Because I never knew love
Until there was you
