For most of my life I've wondered when I'd meet the man of my dreams
The man who would some day would sweep me off my feet
Someone who could make me smile with out even trying
A man who would love me for who I am, flaws and all
Someone I could count on in my time of need
And who would not hesitate to hold my hand and take a leap
A man who believes in me as much as he believes in us
Never afraid of what the future holds as long as we go though it together
Someone who knows, the greatest thing in life is to find the person you are destine to be with

Danielle, man or woman, we all still seek, living through this life as we can, with the possibility of never having that meeting, love is a gift that only few can put claim to I'm afraid. We shall all search together my friend, goodluck.

Have had similar thoughts about meeting my dream woman...and I thought that I met her..but she was my dream woman but I was not her dream man...
I think the important thing is to fully enjoy the relationship we are in...whether it be a friendship or more...and that prepares us for the dream one...after all if we think along the line that it must be the dream one or nothing, our whole life might pass us by with nothing...James

Danielle - I can understand this write and would add that I think James has given some wise advice.

May your Dream Man be manifested into reality.

In my life, if I go actively looking for things ~ they're elusive. However, when I put those things (and men! lol) on the back burner of my mind, they will suddenly appear out of the clear blue sky!
~ and that can be heavenly!

I could feel the emotion behind your expressive words.

"the greatest thing in life is to find the person you are destined to be with"

Often times a lesson learned too late in life... after Mundania has attached the traces that ensnare, entangle and bind until all that remains is an elusive dream.

  Interesting write.

Odds of finding Mr. Right are about as slim
as finding Mrs. Right.  If two people can
communicate,  can respect each other and
live together in such a way that they are
not at odds with each other....they are
gettting close...Maturity has a lot to do
with it all.  That and the ability to
forgive when a mistake is made.

The problem with getting swept off your feet is that you often end up on your rear end.  On a format note, you might want to consider breaking up the lines in this piece since some of them are rather long.  Best of luck with the search.
