Where the Light Shines Through

Blades of grass airily tease my skin,
The melody of watercourse plays like violin,
and I find such cosiness in it's sound.
The sun traces light amongst red pines
in this place that bares no 'No Vacancy' signs.
Nature serenades me as it surrounds.

I'm not who I used to be (as I lay here)

The mist wraps 'round my skin like a glove.
It approaches me like a dance from above,
and this last November's sun is setting.
I lay beneath where the light shines through,
as lavendars and lilacs so gently imbue.
Solace lies wait in my dandelion bedding.

I'm exactly who I want to be (I fear)

Here I am taken through my memories,
lost like the clouds 'neath the sky's canopy.
I somehow find a happiness I once knew.
In this place, you can see the colours of the wind,
warming the palm of your hand, like the touch of a friend.
This place is where the light shines through.

What a place to be, wished I could find such a peaceful place, wonderful poetry,
very descriptive, flowing like a cloud in a night sky...
