small room
he works it well
calling people to him
with the smell of his charm
long brown fingers
in their graceful move

I watch him in the corner
chatting ladies
each fancying herself his lover
naked skin
under tiny hot lights

oil lies heavy on canvas
each piece speaking of
just buy
and leave

art is art
not commerce

when the lights go down
we walk
matched steps
yellow sundress
wet shoulders
long brown fingers at my waist
street lights tugging at rain

quiet
intimate city now
ours

  my only true art
he says
in his wet smoothness

  is you

Oh, how I can relate to this, I dare not say. It seeps inside and touches deep,Milady, very deep.

this 'write' is great!

[a grand-fine mix of sensual and powerfully
  emotive impressionism and realism!]

serious applause!!

"is you"

at the end of the day
the end of brush
is the true muse
of magic

Have never been to New York, but feel a deep desire to see that world through your eyes now. Very very powerful..
