  The Last Pale Shadow
          of a Rose

With the final breath of
  twilight,
her love faded…
like the last pale shadow
  of a rose,
leaving one lonely heart
painted in restless, eternal
  sorrows...
(brushed by the entangled
  sweep of time)
forever unable
to taste the sunrise!

to taste the sunrise"

I adored this one.
Do it again!

In the sight of Love, fear isn't even as great as a single hair:  in the law of Love, everything is offered as a sacrifice

Sadness and beauty in equal balance. The ephemeral in word-dance.

Something so beautiful can never be completely sad. One of my favorite songs is "The Rose" have you ever listened to the words?
