traveling takes me far
from my soul

hotel rooms unclothe me
clothe me in another's skin

and yet
even here
I am his

at breakfast
I pick egg from his plate
he sneaksmiles
indulging my mouth
with his eyes

fine serviette
wipes at yellow
  ...missing

soft brown fingers crawl my arm
over hand to lips
what is this at the corner
he whispers
shall the whole city see you
     in this vulnerability
     that belongs only to me?

what will you do with this long day
     while I work
     and you are dressed

     in another's skin?

You transport with your words to places with images that warm and inspire, whether real or dreamed.

sometimes, it is nice to dress in anothers skin, but there is surely none as fantasticaly fitting, as our own.  I love the way that you write, you know this, yes    Much enjoyed this, Kate.

Oh, wow... *S* You make my toes curl... even the broken ones (ouch) *G*

And I thought only a certain someone's kisses could do that! LOL

Have a pretzel for me will you?     Love that place, nothing quite like New York in the Fall.

Ooo, la la, Lolita! lol

Love the skin you're in!

You certainly know how to lure a reader into your boudoir! ~ And it is always an interesting view!

To love and loving!

Thank you for bringing me along.
Does he know that I am lurking
just beyond his eyes and touch?
