    Time’s Indifference
   and Love’s Abandon

Beyond the last clear call
  of sunset,
an impatient sadness…
follows the fading footsteps
  of twilight passing,
(through the soft, sweet
  stillness of the night)
tempting lonely hearts
  to remember
all that ‘should have been’,
forever lost…
to Time’s indifference
  and Love’s abandon!

Well penned, poet!
The bittersweet side of love somehow tastes sweet when written with such passionate tenderness!

...indifference and abandon...boy, if that doesn't say it all. Well written my friend.
