Wave's of feelings tear at my mind

Sleep so far away

Cherished thoughts seemed so grand

Alone I sit and pray

Like an old book upon the shelf

My cries set aside

Worries fill the void I feel

The pressure builds inside

Only time will tell the future of us

No traces of what to do

With all these memories that we share

Only hope will see us through

Better to die, and sleep
The never-waking sleep, than linger on
And dare to live when the souls life is gone.
