     A Celebration of Life
         and Wilderness

In the first fine glow of morning
when a grand pearl-grey dawn
breaks upon…the immense,
implacable spirit of the
  shimmering sea,
where tired rivers flow
beneath fast-fading stars
  in a cosmic dream…
(bisecting the winds of Time)
one thinks of all the tiny,
  reawakening things
in so many unsung ‘worlds’
  of new promise…
quite different from our own
where clocks rage endlessly on,
while time and destiny
  laugh and point
at those who may never
  truly 'understand’;
but shall remain instead
  forever ‘lost’...
in power’s vain pursuit
and greed’s elusive pleasure,
or jousting with their ever-gathering
shadows of self-delusion
as to what should really
  ‘matter’…
simple love, and the celebration
  of all life in wilderness!

I was wondering... Why do you use so many apostophes and quotes and parentheses? I find it somewhat distracting in the poem and possibly needless. I'm just curious as to why you use them so much; if you don't mind my asking.

There you go with that morning thing, again. More please as I need to know what happens during that time of day.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

This poem rings so true, so many are caught up in the pursuit of power and greed  that they don't realize how short our time on earth is and how quickly these things slip away. You get it and write it well.
For many years I have collected quotes and I think I am going to start sharing them with the readers, I am going to start with this one.....
