Whispers
softly spoken
warm breath close pressed to ear
showering me with loving words
reaching deep, touching hidden heart places
basking in the amarous glow
caught in tender moments
slow soul soothing
whispers.

If the sun never rises
I want to go down in flames
I want the last thing I hear
to be you whisperin' my name.
Each moment together
is time that we borrow
so hold me tight
and love me like
there's no tomorrow.

This reminds me of the sweetest possible pillow talk... that spoken in whispers... not because there's anyone around to overhear... but because the intimacy is that great. *S* Beautiful write!!

Ah Kate, forever is such a long time tho'
I just chose to be thankful for the moments when they come.  I enjoy tackling these different forms of poetry and the rictameter
is one form I enjoy trying to write.

Thanks sweetie.

very pleasant, artistic 'write!'

I am particularly fond of the ending lines:

"caught in tender moments
     slow soul soothing
           whispers."

applause!!

as an 'incurable Romantic,' I couldn't help but return to this fine 'write'
for a third 'official' comment post [something I hardly ever do!]

continuing applause!!

Thank you all so much for reading, and Bruce, thank you for revisiting this. I am glad that you found it worthy.

Peace and Happy New Year to all.  ~D
