Blue green Dragonfly
Dancing for me in dawns light,
A silent moment.

Does the Dragonfly
Sleep? And does it know itself?
Can it feel passion?

Dragonfly humming
In the silent Grey morning
Just before dying.

Helen, perhaps it's because the Dragonfly is largely pre-programmed on what is required of it, we mere mortals on the other hand lack the instinct.
