Listening to every heart

0 posted 2007-07-16 01:15 PM

I Heard Your Tender Call

It resounded in silence, quietly, softly
soulfully, skillfully, rejoicing in my heart
behind closed eyes I heard soft cry
a mind meld of thoughts impart

I felt your tender call

You were there, so long ago, a heartbeat away
in keen memory your words still sway
to dance the dance of night’s long song
wherein these dreams your thoughts belong

Did I dream your tender call

Lace strewn veil o'er silent shadows soft
holding pleasant gentle of your touch
then wing me upward, swift hold me aloft
thy tender call is the voice of such

I heard your tender call

It sang soft, soulful sweet and true
as it came from the heart’s heart of you
ably it came from behind the refrain
that I would hear it, again and again

When you tenderly called my name

Well now Karilea,
How romantic indeed are these words. It creates many images in my mind. A delightful write indeed. Thanks.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

My...this is a most pleasant ‘write’!

I am especially fond of:

“mind meld of thoughts”;

“Lace strewn veil o'er silent shadows soft” ;

AND:

“It sang soft, soulful sweet and true
as it came from the heart’s heart of you”

applause!!

So touching, Karilea, and nothing so stirring as when a loved one calls your name be it the seen or unseen.
