There are never enough petals
I confess,
as a little girl I caused the death
of a thousand of flowers

Bees stung me red
around my head

A la folie

I quit picking
beaucoup fish
in a dirty sea

Give me a daisy
and I'll grow tired

testing dreamy wires

Il m'aime un peu

Oxeyes
make me bounce
as a marionette
passionnément

That's why I stick to tigers
They chase away pas du tout
from my imagination

I'm too reckless
with other's thoughts,
and considering the odds
rocks have a lot going for them

I enjoyed the touch of class to this write.

Do I love this poem ~ or do I not! Oui ou non? Ma reponse est "Oui", bien sur! My answer is "Yes", of course!

Daisies never lie!

Love to you!

I love this! *S* The ending is perfect... especially since I've found myself envying rocks... as Simon & Garfunkel said "a rock feels no pain." *S*

Outstanding poem Reg! That has to be the best opening for a poem. I love it and I didn't even have to mangle a flower to figure it out. You're one in million.

Really liked this in it's entirety, however this line I adored:

"I'm too reckless
with other's thoughts"

Love it when someone can put into words things that I know but haven't thought about in that way...

"too bad ignorance isn't painful"

rocks have a lot going for them"

t'es douée- et de plus, beaucoup de français.  je pense que la langue française améliore beaucoup la poésie anglaise. bien fait.
