IMAGINATION FILLS MY MIND
Imagination fills my mind
With visions that seem true and kind
So tempting and to just remind
Of where we can be free

Imagination takes the fore
And I’m entranced forevermore
Feeling things not known before
As inner eye can see

Imagination in the day
Takes me all so far away
Temps to make me want to stay
And throw away the key

Imagination takes my eye
It’s then I wave the world goodbye
And everyday though it may try
Compared it could not be

So as I go through days pretend
I can not wait for day to end
For then reward the mind does lend
And offers peace to me

So aren’t we lucky for this gift
That lets our mind from present shift
To let us from day glooms then lift
And find what’s there to see

I am always waiting for my day to end~~ hoping tomorrow I may want it to last a bit longer.

My Dad used to say I was wishing my life away. *S* But this is still the way I cope and enjoy... living in the moment is wonderful IF you have moments worth savoring! *G* Otherwise... give me pretend and peace. *S*

I truly am thankful for the one that I have as well. It transports me away from the mundane to places that are seemingly out of reach in reality. ~ like the stars! lol

suthern, my friend, thank you so much for your reply here, living through great moments are fantastic, and often pretend or fantasy dampens that moment a little with we having too much expectation. I so enjoy life and I so enjoy imagination, joined together gives us a harmony in life I think.
