I won't claim they are all haiku, but just a little of my perspective on the shorter poetry

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Post Mortem
Going through the veil -
Once life’s journey is a tale
Did your faith prevail
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Empty Noise
dry branches snapping -
summer glory now faded
still tries to impress

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eternity Beckons
body discarded
spirit struggling upwards -
too late to grow wings
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Destiny
deep thunder rumbling
silence envelopes the land -
destiny draws near

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Astral Womb
astral absorption
blends life continually -
soul's evolution
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Free Spirit
thundering of hoofs
freedom’s stampede of delight -
spirit unbroken

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aching
aching deep within
reaching out beyond the veil
never forgotten
Honestly, I cannot pick a favourite! Each one was impressive and enjoyed.
You certainly were able to accomplish a great deal with an economy of words!!!
EXCELLENT work, Divine Poet!
I'm still reeling from the gamut of emotions I just experienced! lol
Namaste
Well thank you all for your most welcome support, in what I find the most difficult of writes.
Haiku does not come easy to me, but it is hard to say why.  Most of my poetry floats off my pen and all I have to do is correct it gramatically and alter it a bit to suit me a little better than it first appeared.
Unfortunately Haiku does not, some nagging feeling says I have something to write, hours later after looking at the blank page I finally get something, interpretation from the thought to words is left to me and not my muse!
So you can see why I appreciate your support, this is not my natural medium and sometimes I need patting on the head!
Thanks again,
Ivor
