Oh the mighty ant,
the industrialist's dream
doesn't know it is.

Many times its weight
carried time and time again,
it doesn't ask why.

The warrior ant,
its loyalty unquestioned,
doesn't know of death.

Moved by thought itself
never knowing symphonies
it doesn't need words.

The apolitical
prototype conservative,
doesn't need reasons.

Made to an image
of functional ugliness,
its god is an ant.

Think I missed this one the first time around, Mr. C.  Quite right, I think.  I was just pondering ants the other day...and how they don't realize the strength they have, especially when acting in unison.  You always leave me rearranging my own interpretations; one of the things I like about reading you -- you get that old mind of mine moving....*smiles*......jo
