light dares us to come in
like an enormous hand
in faithful evolution
fair and loving
leaping flames
like a rich
cloak of scattered droplets

entralling rendezvous
passionately untamed
powerfully connected
internally married
to an intimate
side of life reclaimed

urging incantations
of damp spring air
hoping to catch
the lofty title of
human reasoning
within an
unspoken truce
beyond compare

flushed with color
unable to deny
imagination
entirely coincidental
a benevolent embrace
teaching an artist's vision
steeped in a summer's
amber gaze

like a breeze ripples corn
whispering soft
a threshold of voice
intensified  hawthorn
lined white face
of the full curve
of destiny's breast
sworn to

wisdom of shepards
dancing grass pulses
through
like a healing balm of love
on a thread of mystery
belonging to virtue
and to you

LeeJ,

This stream of counciousness poem leans more towards Joyce's "Finnegans Wake" than his "Ulysses".

I never could get into "Finnegans Wake".

Great write LeeJ.
Love this verse.

Libertine:
"He didn't resist temptation. He pursued it."

wow Lee

this is not something one should read while being buzzed on Miller Chill

I might just have gotten some inspiration! But sleep might get me first. *sigh*

I'll have to come back to this

fine 'write'!

I particularly LOVE this imagery:

“a benevolent embrace
teaching an artist's vision
steeped in a summer's
amber gaze”

“like a breeze ripples corn
whispering soft
a threshold of voice”

“dancing grass pulses…

like a healing balm of love
on a thread of mystery
belonging to virtue
and to you”

Applause!!
