The line is there Sometimes though it blurrs I feel your eyes trace The fall of my hair Sliding down my back and below You step closer Your scent filling me We both know I sense you Still my focus remains On work, lines, art Anything but you A hand slips to my thong The charm on it glittering Whisper your approval I'd pull away, a wall is there The door closes a little Your hand sliding lower as I turn A chill skitters through me The game is changing under our feet DANGEROUS More than it's ever been Your eyes are hungry Unslakeable thirst meets mine So much at risk screams my mind Why won't our bodies listen I whisper no before it's too late Breathing you in as I let you go A smile of knowing touches your lips The wall has never been so interesting "I used to worry what people thought of me, then I broke through my cacoon" |
