Lumpy Oatmeal makes me Crazy!

Quiet Time

Quiet time with you is
Reading as light filters
Through the window in
Pastels of dusk
Listening to the swell of
Music lift around us
Knowing that we are twins
Of the soul
Linked by history that
Precedes us
Forged by futures together

Quiet time with you
Flirts with passions untouched
Memories of lessons learned
Who we are together
And what we are not afraid
To share

Quiet time with you
Erupts in an explosion of need
Physical touching
Minds merging erotic
Dreams once held close
Now shared

In the quiet time with you

---

Alison

Quiet time can be

explosive...

in art, music, thought, word,

deed...indeed!

A grand-lovely and effectively emotive 'write'
[although, one tiny point...I would love to see you
lose the word 'reeks' from an otherwise rather
sterling piece]

I particularly admire:

"Quiet time with you is
Reading as light filters
Through the window in
Pastels of dusk
Listening to the swell of
Music lift around us
Knowing that we are twins
Of the soul
Linked by history that
Precedes us
Forged by futures together (!)"

serious sustained applause!!

I totally agree with the word "reeks" -- thanks for bringing it to my attention .. and thank you for supporting me as you do.

Quiet times...I remember those. Lovely and very softly ~ sensual.

Reek though is quite an odorous word and appears to take away from the actual meaning of this great read.

And ya'll, I kicked 'reek' to the curb.  What was I thinking anyway?  Beats me.

Thanks and hugs

This makes me smile when I reread this and takes my imagination away as though reading it for the first time, dreams I can barely write or talk about.
There is no substitute for absolute honesty and this write just crackles with it.
So many greatful embraces, ali friendly
