As It Seams

My mind has softened to face each day
with wishful thinking of promised say.
The highs and lows of words in thought
etching the memories words have brought.

A tapestry of ifs that once
had laid the very foundation of
to be or not to be it seamed
to live within a song of love.

My mind has softened to ease each day
to take with it the bridge's sway.
To and fro, left and right
releasing today into tomorrow's flight.

A time for then and a time for now
that join together in silent hold.
What was is still, though the other side
wrapped and treasured to later unfold...

pleasant, interesting ‘write’!

I am especially fond of:

“to live within a song of love”

and, more true than most folks might
realize (based on the actual nature
of ‘time’) is:

“A time for then and a time for now
that join together in silent hold.
What was...is still (!)”

[what we call the ‘past’, ‘present’, and
  ‘future’ actually exist in simultaneity
   on an unmoving ‘timescape’ (dimension)
   like towns on a 'landscape'...
It is we (all matter) that are undergoing
   continuous change and motion relative
   to the fixed ‘timescape’...like an
airplane flying over the landscape (which
is fixed in place relative to the plane's
   motion)]

Applause!!

Thank you Dixie..just in a  thoughtful mood today thinking about words and how they  can have meaning or not~~~

Thank you, Marge. I have missed reading and being on here but sometimes my mind needs to be elsewhere to survive.

It's funny, but I didn't write this when feeling calm, actually I was upset but maybe it was what was needed to calm the thoughts.

Thank you, again for sharing your thoughts.
