.

The trees
Bend in the wind

Yet again
It is a hot wind
That seeks to expose
The vulnerable side of leaves

A sort of summer
Sahara animosity
As hates being
So rooted to the ground

Since such stability
Is ultimately anathema
To that which
Would have it done

That everything on Earth
However brief or long
Should spend the time
Only honoring
Its murderous whim

.

hot wind is on the beach too

the only relief is the cool water

I begin to wonder if a tan is that important anyhow
