When the love of a woman for a man Encircles her, in his absence as in his presence When time ceases its adversarial winds, and instead Becomes as the deep and crystal waters that anoint her As she levitates his hopes and dreams above the surface, Letting drip dry the entanglements of equanimity and pride Until her strength is unfaltering, her passion insatiable When love releases it's possession, intending instead Life's liquidity, simple as dew When the love of a woman for a man, shines throughout her being, Telling its truth quietly and steadily Then and there, unchanged and certain, Does the sphere of forever Become their two hearts home Copyright Kkh 7/8/07 |
