desert sun holds me in love
and I lie
close eyed
watching
paint from palette
soft brown fingers
brush
lingering in the air

wisp of dream only
an impression
speaking monet
in muted blue
pink clouds
love washed

his smile falls on my hand
touching each fingertip
sleep comes for me
and I must leave

dusk wakes me to find
he has painted the world in my lap

a soft yellow kiss on my cheek

And so he paints... imagery of love across your lips. A whisper can only feel this soft.

Love your poem and was inspired to say that.. whatever that was.

YES, this is very very good.  A superbly
tantalizing write that simply makes the eyes
fog and the lip quiver....should I say more?

When I first read this, I realized I might
have something that would suit it very well...

but when I compared the words
to the scene...

I don't know...

You tell me.

can it even touch

Love?
