Wallowing

My love so sweet,
from the spring
of your love
I drink,
worrying not
of today
but wondering
about tomorrow.
Soon enough
my love so sweet,
shall you depart from
this love so sweet
leaving me wallowing
in my sorrow.

I don't know what it is about the word "wallowing" ... but it's one of those unique words that is so descriptive in and of itself. Your poem captured the title well, James. Much enjoyed.

Best wishes,
/Kit

LOL James....sorry.

We all just wallow to the hole dries and we find another, my friend. It's the interlude between wallows that so enjoyable ... until we find a permanent spot....then it's all good!
