You can't see the end of God's love
just like the ocean.
This wine that we drink is a miraculous potion.
Along with the bread that was chastised,
you see the love and devotion.
It softens your heart,
somewhat like a spiritual lotion.
Rub your skin, and your soul
with this divine cream.
As the scent of your blessings
makes things better than they seem.

I don't see the cup as half empty,
nor half full.
For with God the cup overflows,
and that's better than half good.
It's actually fully great.
He didn't carry half the wood....
He carried the full weight.
So now as we wait
for the second coming of him.
Put the cross before you,
and not second again.
Remember we would not live,
without a second of him.

I like this. It's fairly well written, and I can buy into the idea.

Ok Robert Jordan thank you for the comment, however, you said that the poem was "fairly well written". Well I'm not looking for "fairly well written", but something near great perhaps. LOL. Well, I can settle for good for now. So what do you think would make it better?
