Sunburn

The red
Burning into flesh
Nothing depletes me more
No water left inside
And the pain is deep
Tearing away like a bandage
Leaving my skin raw and unworthy
No one can look at me
My horrid red skin just laughable
From a stupid kid
Who forgot his screen
A mask from the sun
To hide away from the light
But instead the beach was pure delight
I can't hide anymore
From the scourge in my side
Leaving me blind
From the pain deep inside

Sorry this is a first draft.  I can't write right now on paper and I can only move my arms enough type because of the horrible sunburn I just got.  Also word doesn't work on my computer.  Thanks for reading

Thanks for the kind words.  Yeah I was stuck at a beach helping my friend with his birthday party from 10:30 in the morning to five in the afternoon.  Man was that a bad idea.
