Lily’s blouse,
Her buttoned row
Handed down from
Her mother’s
Faintly brown drawer.

Lily,
She waters her knees
With the tears
That comes from
the crowd of men
That whistle
To catch a glimpse
Of her blouses
Blue sipped river.

Where a legion
Of green waits,
She can be seen
With a skin of
Ice withering
The farms
Golden cornrows.

As her blouse
Walks with her,
Its as if it sees
Feet create space
Before their shoelaces
String at each others pace.

Lily’s garden,
Having lunch with

Lily’s blouse.
