This is not the end
As they smile it,
Framed in the happiness of hate
When seen through glistening eyes,
Temporarily blinding,
The flower from the sun...

This is not the beginning
As you frown it,
Framed in the hopes of dreams
When seen from the soul's eyes
Seemingly awakening,
The consciousness from a thought...

This is the essence of infinity,
That feeling of a child's innocence,
Perhaps an unfaithful man's hunger,
Or the twinkling indifference of the eve's humbleness...
Do you ever stop that moment's worry,
To feel the contradiction of unseen kisses,
As you awake each day?
Trust in the truth of my pen,
Over your own misguided fears and hopes
Because this is neither your dream nor mines;
For we are just this moments thought,
Of Gods peaceful slumber and shame.

Marcel
