candy cones and golden glue
the bronze bashful of amazonia
in mystery trees painting her nails

and she wonders why I stare
at the sun for hours some days
before looking in her windows

nonchalantly beyond her smile
left draped over her shoulder
accidentally on purpose quite often

something about being armed
just in case I am recognized
and she has to use it to punish

when my bareback turns visible

bringing back some wonderful memories
of some childhood memories...

not the way I'm sure you wanted to go
but you took me there, anyway...

Hey!  I never seen no windows at the rodeo.

(mutters that this poem makes no sense - where are the gates, the cowboys and the bulls)

Okay, I admit that I loved it.  Even understood it -- even though you forgot the clowns.
