Where Love Is Written In Gold

While listening to your songs
It inspires me to write
I imagine you and I meeting
Upon a starry starry night

Songs that break the silence
Are played repeatedly
As words speak to my heart
I embraced them tenderly

With fingers playing skillfully
While holding your guitar
I was swaying to the rhythm
Visualising you from afar

Music brings back memories
Songs I continue to play
Where love is written in gold
In glowing reveries I sway

Attuned in passionate tempo
Dreamy nights you fulfill
With true feelings expressed
I love you and always will

This I like. You made me smile. I like your choice of words, the tempo and feel. I haven't visited piptalk for over a year...but I am glad to see so many whom I know still creating magic with words.
