Cast a spell to conceal the whole truth
and erase what you choose not to see.
now a wave of the hand and, Ta-Da!
You have chosen which voice you will heed.

Or , perhaps you've your own formula
under wraps or behind some closed door,
worked in secrecy as we all do
reaching out from some recess for you.

As not all things will follow a plan,
perhaps not everything even should,
your decision's what lies at the root
of those things we believe to be truth.

Using these as my own formuli
rolled around 'til it all coincides.

I do not know the secret handshake, but I'll leave you with a not-so-secret smile.

Oh what the heck? It's been awhile, Doc.

I've missed you!

Dear Serenity,
As I have you. I pop in briefly and browse,
but, as usual, rarely find enough time to comment. Too bad there wasn't some way for us "lazy" people to let others know that they have been read, a "footprint" of some kind worked into the software. Oh well, thanks for the R&R,
Doc

Fairplay,
Thanks for the R&R, well put, so do I. This was more of a " not all is as it first appears " type poem which I've been known to post a few of. thanks again.
Doc

passing shadows,
Thank you. Sometimes we don't see what is right in front of us for one reason or another,(I'm guilty of this all the time).

Selective in-attention runs rampant, especially during campaign years. Sadly, layers of secrecy, cover ups and the 3D's "Discredit, Divide, Destroy" (or some variation on that theme) has been the modus operandi of politics.
When it invades the realm of private relationships, truth and trust fly out the window.
Good to read you again.
Hope I didn't stray way off the path of your poetic intentions.

Midnitesun,
Thank you. I agree whole-heartedly, and no, you didn't. Oh well, since this seems destined to drop off the radar anyway,it's actually a double acrostic when read down the first and last letters of each line.
