life
was
like
sunday's warm covers
traffic lights were green
realization of God and self

holding onto wind whispered ears
crystaline teardrops rained
waves of water into an endless abyss
and the breeze
the breeze
ruffled untaimed hair
by the light of the moon
  and a very moist kiss

knowing nothing
of this world
watching tall grass
blow in the wind
bending backwards
like some forbidden
after thought
I can feel you
smiling back
even though
your not here

underneath
sunday's warm covers
where promises
fall in love
and images of you,
flash in my mind
waist deep
in love words spoken
by your husky voice

I scan
the darkness
for you whispers
feeling your irresistable...
the epitome of cliché
spilling over
in those ocean blue eyes

your married now &
I
love my life
I can live very well without you
but
don't want to

sighs...

I can feel you smiling back
even though your not here

cuz, somehow I know you understand
  we're older
      wiser &
you remember
like I do....
and we're
better
for the experience
of each other....

This is okay as stream of consciousness writing. You have the end right, I’d capitalize “Like” as the first word.

some grand-fine imagery!!

now this is REALLY good:

“the breeze

I am also rather fond of:
