 Dear paper and pen Sadness… been trying to reason with it But it has a power of its own… And its not because of you, or you, or you But because everywhere I turn Something negative is happening Bring me down … making me sad And only my paper and pen To consol me…. Sadness…been trying to reason with it But you have taken over my soul You won’t be there for long But for the time that you are Help me understand Why you linger in the darkness Waiting for a weakness To invade my every thought Jen--->MindBodySoul |

another 'grand-powerful' and most fine 'write'! the following likely triggers that 'bittersweet dejavu' feeling in many (most?!) of us "poets" at least!: "everywhere I turn Something negative is happening Bring me down … making me sad And only my paper and pen To consol me…." much, MUCH applause!! |

i really liked this...its a sad world thats for sure my friend and it sure does help to let whats inside bleed on to the page where u can see it and read it and sometimes understand it...great work...tc |
