Wanderlust

I’ve stood to knees in southern seas
And froze my nose in mountain freeze
I’ve railed and shipped and drove and flew
As far as any man I knew

I’ve talked to every type of man
Listened to every type of plan
And lived a little of each one
Until I felt that each was done

I’ve done some things I think were good
Of how and what I’ve understood
But never have I met a man
That lived his life without a plan

And now I’ve come to think on mine
And here I’ve had to draw the line
It’s hard to pick the bad from good
It’s all in how it’s understood

To me it seems a circles bend
A circle where I find no end

It does seem like there is no end, doesn't it Sy? And, our plans sure don't always work out. Otherwise, my life sure would be a whole lot different.

The title is brilliant.

and quiet a sentimental poem  talking about the philosophy of life. beautiful.

here wonder may mean looking around and may mean thinking.  Both brings  pleasure and puzzlement and sadness.  the truth of life.

enjoyed as always

have a wonderful day, and be happy Sir Tabin.
