Hey DAD I didn’t forget you
See I remembered I forgot
But that’s about it all for now
My own kidsI have got

It’s the way you dragged me up
I didn’t need to think
Until the day you kicked me out
Told me “Swim or Sink”

My kids will do the same to me
You know it isn’t fun
They never do a single thing
Unless they’re told by MUM

Sounds like some strong emotions, both in front and behind the lines here. Loved your ending line too. Much enjoyed.

Best wishes,
/Kit
