Ghosts of Good Girls Gone Bad

Some say they wander
into the night,
too sad and lonely
to come out
into the light.
Perhaps some of them
would want to live
their lives again,
but death doesn't
tease or pretend,
it takes everything
you've got
in the end.
Slowly life
ebbs away,
leaving them
with nothing
more to say
than WHY...
Thats the way
that good girls
gone bad say
goodbye.

James, I understand how you meant this,but I have to say:

Thank you Robert, for your input. I taught my sons there were no bad girls, only a few sad ones for whom life taught them differently than he was taught; and that they were never to take advantage of a young girl looking for some one to care about her. martyjo

That's so true, James. When it comes to anyone having gone bad I think we have to take a good look at the yardstick we use to measure good and bad because none of us have access to the bigger picture. Some things are meant to be in this life of ours, I think.

Thank you Robert, late arrival and Honeybunch for responding...
In my experiences indeed there are women and men that have gone bad...no need to sugar coat the truth...how many bad seeds were planted from parent to child...how many by peer influence...how many by the bombardment of junk on TV and in movies...the list could go on...how many by the influences of drugs and alcohol...how many in the words and actions of liars and thiefs and child molesters and murderers and encouragers and enablers...the list could go on...yes their is good and evil...James
