Forever In Your Heart

Sharing our conversations,
making my mind tingle,
feeling new sensations,
bells on toes jingle,

Walking through memories,
sharing intimate thoughts,
creating new possibilities,
sewing together our hearts,

The music of your voice,
serenading my deep mind,
soothing of the choice,
what gets left behind?

Your love, my treasure,
your heart, my home,
for it is you I pleasure,
never more to ever roam.

J. M. Barrie, the playwright, may have said it best when he wrote, “God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December.”
