    Cradle Mountain (Tasmania)
  [geological impressions (cont.)]

     For only a moment…
     stolen from eternity,
     the fine granite ‘cradle’
     clasps a sunset
     in grand-crimson suspension,
     against a cobalt sky
     of amber-tipped ‘cloud-ships’
     mirror-dancing ...
     on the timeless, rippling sea.

I love those "amber-tipped ‘cloud-ships’"
An enjoyable series of geologic poems!
