I secretly smiled, because they didn't know
that it was you who was silently there
coaxing me through the boring meeting
so dull and mundane: but you were lurking
driving me insane in the back round
of my mind looking through windows
a glance to find encouraging me
just a little more and for a few seconds
I could have sworn that you were there
or was it the breeze that I heard softly
whispering while I was trying so hard
just to get through that so called meeting
but there was you, playing in the corners
all the while. And me...baby, I secretly
smiled.
