misfortune unmerited
ill-nature
has driven away fortitude
afflictions
prove
the spoiler

now swoons
winter's raw spoon

ohhhh adeiu
adeiu

to endeavour imprudent fancy
I should think resolution
a lone swan on my sister's pond
if only to own her diplomacy

oh how I adore water lilies

despite a plea for
         quick witted humor

the site of comfortable fire
seems so far away from my hearth
recover me...recover me...please?
affording sparce
the feeling of dislike
within my impatient womb
an air of sincere regard
couples elegantly
bright and light that soothes

absurdities rattle
amiable
and
rather pleasing
falling short
of interrupted visions
I make eye contact
with countenance
and that dreadful vice,
impulse
I seem to
run away with
out loud!

Oh,
if it weren't for my older sister
I'd be a shear walk into
self loathing and humility
extensively generous
to my acquantance
which can be anxious
and quite assuming

though I am more
concerned with feelings then
end results

          and...

--that I slow down
and
just be that
small fish
in a big lake...

revealing the shame & earthly
happiness I passion

I am utterly
and quit irresponsibly
in love
with life

despite
the
jealousy
from
independence

worldly advantages are
of firmest opinion
quit extraordinary
and most opposite
to my ideas
leaving me
highly amuzed
by the quietude of my room
good painting that it is
in this ever
so tiny place

it never grows old

Ahh, yes you are, and you do a good job at it too.  It shows - little bear...

~ That would make a wonderful mantra to repeat over and over again ~ even during the most stressful of times!

I would love to share a pot of tea with you someday, Dear Poetess!

Loves 'n hugs,
Linda
